Webinar with the Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ART)

On Thursday, March 20th, the Cameroon Fintech Association hosted an insightful webinar in collaboration with the Agence de Régulation des Télécommunications (ART), the public administrative body responsible for regulating telecommunications in Cameroon.
During the session, ART educated us about their role and mission, highlighting the importance of compliance within the fintech ecosystem. They discussed the three licenses available for fintech companies in Cameroon and emphasized that every fintech operating in the country must obtain a license. Without it, fintechs may be exposed to potential sanctions or penalties. ⚖️📜
This webinar was a valuable opportunity for fintech entrepreneurs to understand better the regulatory landscape and the critical steps needed to ensure their operations are fully compliant.
